Who We Are


Build on your expertise from your Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy residency with the Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY-2) ambulatory care pharmacy residency with Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital – Chicago. This structured, 12-month program continues your post-graduate education.

Required rotations include:

  • Ambulatory Leadership/Management
  • Anticoagulation Clinic
  • Longitudinal Pharmacotherapy Clinic with preceptor responsibilities
  • Multidisciplinary Primary Care
  • Oncology
  • Orientation
  • Pharmacotherapy Clinic (Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital – Chicago and Saint Francis Hospital – Evanston)
  • Population Health
  • Research
  • Specialty Pharmacy

Elective rotations include:

The resident may serve as primary preceptor for students and/or PGY-1 residents. Completion of a teaching certification through our affiliation with Midwestern University is an additional option.
